Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 1 Sunday:
- Arizona Cardinals linebacker Cody Simon and safety Joey Blount are being evaluated for possible concussions sustained against the Saints, head coach Jonathan Gannon said. Linebacker Zaven Collins left with a hand injury.
- Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London suffered a shoulder sprain against the Buccaneers and is considered day to day but will undergo more tests, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Wide receiver Jamal Agnew left with a groin injury.
- Chicago Bears defensive back Kyler Gordon (hamstring) has been added to the injury report and is questionable to play Monday against the Vikings.
- Cincinnati Bengals guard Lucas Patrick (calf) was ruled out against the Browns. Linebacker Logan Wilson was evaluated for a concussion.
- Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Jack Conklin exited with an eye injury against the Bengals.
- Denver Broncos tight end Evan Engram (calf) left in the fourth quarter and did not return against the Titans.
- Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold (groin) was ruled out against the Packers. Safety Daniel Thomas (hand) did not return.
- Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Zach Tom (hip), guard Aaron Banks (ankle), cornerback Bo Melton (shoulder) and defensive lineman Brenton Cox (groin) left with injuries against the Lions.
- Houston Texans center Jake Andrews (ankle) was carted off and did not return against the Rams.
- Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers left with a knee injury against the Patriots but told reporters he is fine and there are no concerns moving forward. Linebacker Elandon Roberts (elbow) was ruled out.
- Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua was evaluated for a concussion and returned against the Texans. Offensive linemen Kevin Dotson (ankle) did not return.
- Miami Dolphins offensive lineman James Daniels (pectoral) and cornerback Storm Duck (ankle) were ruled out against the Colts. Offensive lineman Austin Jackson (toe) did not return.
- Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith (illness) was downgraded to out and will not travel to play the Bears on Monday night.
- New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Taliese Fuaga exited with a knee injury against the Cardinals.
- New York Giants linebacker Micah McFadden's X-rays on his leg/ankle were negative, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported. McFadden was carted off the field in the first quarter and ruled out against the Commanders.
- New York Jets running back Kene Nwangwu (hamstring) was ruled out against the Steelers.
- Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott, who exited with a knee injury against the Jets, is being evaluated, head coach Mike Tomlin said. Linebacker Malik Harrison (knee) is also being evaluated and cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is dealing with hamstring tightness, per Tomlin.
- San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (hamstring) was ruled out against the Seahawks. Wide receiver Jauan Jennings left with a shoulder injury. Kittle and Jennings will both undergo MRIs to check the severity of their injuries, head coach Kyle Shanahan said.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin, who was inactive for the season opener with an ankle injury, could return to practice as soon as this week, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network's Judy Battista reported. Godwin has a target return date of Week 5, per Rapoport and Battista.
- Tennessee Titans running back Kalel Mullings (ankle) and offensive tackle JC Latham (hip) did not return against the Broncos.
