- OT Taylor Moton signed a two-year contract extension through the 2027 season, the team announced. Moton's deal is worth $44 million and includes $40 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Friday, per sources. The Panthers veteran's new $22 million APY is tied for fourth among right tackles with Green Bay's Zach Tom. Moton was due $17.5M this year, the final year of his deal. The starting right tackle has started 113 of 129 games played since joining Carolina as a 2017 second-round pick.

- LB Nic Scourton, who sufered a collapsed lung last week, is doing well and could return to practice next week, per head coach Dave Canales
