New York officially hired Harbaugh, the former Ravens HC, to be their next head coach, on Jan. 17. Horton, the former Ravens special teams coordinator, is being hired as the Giants' ST coordinator and assistant head coach, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Jan. 25. Harbaugh's staff will also include former Titans defensive coordinator Wilson, who's being hired as New York's DC, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Pelissero reported. The Giants are hiring Nagy to be their OC, the Insiders reported on Feb. 3.

Tennessee hired Saleh, the 49ers' defensive coordinator, as their next head coach, the team announced on Jan. 22. The Titans agreed to hire Daboll, the former Giants HC, to be Saleh's offensive coordinator, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Jan. 27. Tennessee hired Bradley as defensive coordinator on Feb. 2.

Minter was hired Jan. 22 to become the franchise's fourth full-time head coach, the team announced. The Ravens are hiring Bears offensive coordinator Doyle as their new OC, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Jan. 30; Doyle's hire was announced on Feb. 2. Baltimore plans to hire Weaver as its next DC, Pelissero reported on Feb. 2. Pelissero also reported on Feb. 3 that Baltimore is expected to hire Steelers running backs coach Eddie Faulker for the same position.

The Steelers have agreed to a deal to hire McCarthy as their next head coach, the team announced on Jan. 24. Pittsburgh hired Graham as its new DC on Jan. 30. The Steelers are expected to hire Crossman as their new STC, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Feb. 2.

Miami hired Hafley, the Packers' defensive coordinator, as their next head coach, the team announced on Jan. 19. The Dolphins hired Sullivan as their new GM, the team announced on Jan. 9. NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Jan. 23 that Tabor is expected to be hired as Miami's new special teams coordinator. The Dolphins are expected to hire Slowik as their next offensive coordinator, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport on Jan. 24. Duggan is expected to be hired as the team's defensive coordinator, Pelissero reported on Feb. 1.

San Francisco is hiring former Falcons head coach Raheem Morris as its defensive coordinator, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Feb. 1.

  • Head coach Mike LaFleur


Arizona hired Rams offensive coordinator LaFleur as its new head coach, the team announced on Feb. 1.

  • Head coach Klint Kubiak


The Raiders are zeroing in on Kubiak, the Seahawks offensive coordinator, as their next head coach, though an official hire will have to wait until after Seattle plays in Super Bowl LX, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Feb. 1.

Brady, 36, is being promoted from offensive coordinator to head coach, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero reported on Jan. 27, per sources. Buffalo hired Carmichael as OC, the Insiders reported on Jan. 30, and Rapoport reported the team tabbed Leonard as DC and Rodgers as special teams coordinator on Jan. 31. Rapoport reported on Feb. 3 that the Bills are hiring former Titans quarterbacks coach Bo Hardegree as their QBs coach.

  • Atlanta hired Stefanski as its next head coach on Jan. 17 and Rees as OC on Jan. 21. The Falcons hired franchise legend Ryan as their new president of football, the team announced on Jan. 10. Aukerman was named special teams coordinator on Jan. 26. Bears assistant general manager Cunningham is being hired as the team's new general manager, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero reported on Jan. 29.
  • Offensive coordinator Sean Mannion


Mannion, formerly the Green Packers QB coach, was hired on Jan. 29 to be the Eagles' offensive coordinator, replacing Kevin Patullo.

  • Head coach Todd Monken


Cleveland hired Monken, the former Ravens offensive coordinator, to be their next head coach on Jan. 28.

Los Angeles is hiring McDaniel as its next offensive coordinator, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Jan. 20. The hire was officially announced on Jan. 26. Western Michigan defensive coordinator O'Leary was hired as the team's new DC, the Chargers announced on Jan. 28.

  • Defensive coordinator Brian Duker


The Jets hired Duker as their new defensive coordinator on Jan. 28, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported. Duker, 36, previously was the Dolphins pass game coordinator/secondary.

  • Offensive coordinator David Blough
  • Defensive coordinator Daronte Jones


The Commanders promoted assistant quarterbacks coach Blough to offensive coordinator, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Jan. 9. The Commanders are hiring Vikings DB coach Jones as their new defensive coordinator, Rapoport reported on Jan. 26.

  • Offensive coordinator Drew Petzing


Detroit hired Petzing, who was the Cardinals OC for the past three seasons, as its new offensive coordinator, the team announced the news on Jan. 26.

  • Defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon


The Packers are hiring former Cardinals head coach Gannon as their next defensive coordinator, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Jan. 25.

  • Defensive coordinator Christian Parker


Dallas are hiring Parker as its next defensive coordinator, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Jan. 22, per sources. The team announced the hire on Jan. 23.

  • Special teams coordinator Danny Smith
  • Quarterbacks coach Chandler Whitmer


The Buccaneers are set to hire Robinson as their next offensive coordinator, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Jan. 22. Tampa Bay is hiring Smith, 72, to be its special teams coordinator, the Buccaneers announced on Jan. 20. The Bucs agreed to terms with Indiana co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Chandler Whitmer to be their OC, Rapoport and NFL Network Insiders Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported on Feb. 3.

  • Offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy


Bieniemy agreed to terms with the Chiefs to return as offensive coordinator, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Jan. 21. The team announced the hire on Jan. 23.

FIRINGS

  • General manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah


Minnesota fired Adofo-Mensah on Jan. 30 following four seasons and a 43-25 record with the team, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported.

  • Offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi


Denver fired Lombardi on Jan. 27 three days after the Broncos lost to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported.

  • Head coach Sean McDermott


The Bills fired McDermott on Jan. 19 aftter nine seasons with the team, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported. McDermott went 98-50 in the regular season but 8-8 in the playoffs.

  • Offensive coordinator Greg Roman


The Chargers fired Roman on Jan. 13, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero reported.

  • Offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard
  • Special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey


Tampa Bay fired Grizzard and McGaughey on Jan. 8, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero reported.

  • Head coach Mike McDaniel


McDaniel was fired on Jan. 8 after four seasons as head coach in Miami.

  • Head coach John Harbaugh


The Ravens fired Harbaugh on Jan. 6 after 18 seasons in Baltimore.

  • Offensive coordinator John Morton


The Lions fired Morton on Jan. 6, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported. Morton was in his first year as Detroit's OC after replacing Ben Johnson, who became the Bears' head coach last offseason.

  • Defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr.


Whitt Jr. was fired after two seasons as Commanders DC, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Jan. 6.

  • Defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus


Dallas fired Eberflus on Jan. 6 after just one season at the helm. Eberflus' defense ranked 30th in yards allowed per game and 32nd in points allowed per game in 2025.

  • Head coach Jonathan Gannon


Arizona fired Gannon on Jan. 5 after three seasons, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported. Gannon went 15-36 during his tenure including a 3-14 season in 2025.

  • Head coach Pete Carroll
  • Offensive coordinator Chip Kelly
  • Special teams coordinator Tom McMahon


Carroll was fired on Jan. 5 after generating a 3-14 record in his first season as coach. Kelly was fired on Nov. 23 after the Raiders fell to 2-9. Las Vegas fired McMahon on Nov. 7, with Derius Swinton II taking over interim duties.

  • Head coach Kevin Stefanski


The Browns fired Stefanski on Jan. 5 after Cleveland finished the 2025 season 5-12.

  • Head coach Raheem Morris
  • General manager Terry Fontenot


The Falcons fired Morris and Fontenot on Jan. 4 after Atlanta finished the 2025 season 8-9. The Falcons went 8-9 in back-to-back seasons under Morris and did not make the playoffs during Fontenot's five-year tenure as GM.

  • Rams special teams coordinator Chase Blackburn


Los Angeles fired Blackburn on Dec. 20 after the Rams dropped to 11-4 with an overtime loss to the rival Seahawks.

  • Defensive coordinator Steve Wilks


Wilks was fired on Dec. 15 after New York dropped to 3-11. Passing game coordinator Chris Harris took over as interim DC.

  • Head coach Brian Daboll
  • Defensive coordinator Shane Bowen


Daboll was fired on Nov. 10 after a 2-8 start to his fourth season as Big Blue's head coach. Offensive coordinator Mike Kafka took over as interim coach. Daboll led the Giants to a 20-40-1 record and one playoff appearance in his three-plus years in New York. Bowen was fired two weeks later, with Charlie Bullen serving out the season as interim DC.

  • Head coach Brian Callahan


Callahan was fired on Oct. 13 after a 1-5 start to his second season as head coach of the Titans. Mike McCoy took over as interim coach. Callahan ended his career in Tennessee with a 4-19 record. 

PARTING WAYS

  • Offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand


The Jets parted ways with Engstrand on Jan. 27 after one season, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported.

  • Offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo


The Eagles announced on Jan. 13 that Patullo will no longer be the team's offensive coordinator. The news comes two says after the Eagles suffered a home loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card Round.

  • Head coach Mike Tomlin


Tomlin stepped down on Jan. 13 as Pittsburgh's head coach after 19 years with the organization. Tomlin's decision came one day after the Steelers lost to the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round.

  • Offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury


Kingsbury and the Commanders mutually agreed to part ways after two seasons, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Jan. 6, per a source.

  • General manager Chris Grier


Grier and the Dolphins mutually parted ways on Oct. 31 amid his 10th season as GM. Miami compiled a 77-80 record with Grier at the helm, appearing in the playoffs three times but achieving no postseason wins. Champ Kelly served as interim GM after Grier's departure.

RETURNING FOR 2026

  • Defensive coordinator Brian Flores


Flores signed an extension as the Vikings defensive coordinator on Jan. 21, the team announced. NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Flores is still a candidate for the Ravens and Steelers head coaching jobs, but unless he takes one of those openings, he'll remain with Minnesota.

  • Defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich


Ulbrich will remain as the Falcons defensive coordinator under new head coach Kevin Stefanski, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Jan. 18. Ulbrich and Atlanta agreed to terms on a new three-year deal, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Jan. 19.

  • General manager Brandon Beane


Beane will remain in Buffalo for a 10th season, despite the Bills' decision to fire HC Sean McDermott on Jan. 19 after another playoff exit, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported.

  • Head coach Todd Bowles


Bowles will return for a fifth season as the Buccaneers' head coach, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported on Jan. 7.

  • General manager Monti Ossenfort


The Cardinals are retaining Ossenfort despite a 3-14 season in 2025 that result in HC Jonathan Gannon's firing, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Jan. 5. Ossenfort will be part of the search for Gannon's replacement.

  • General manager Joe Schoen


The Giants announced on Jan. 5 that Schoen will return for the 2026 season and will lead the search for the franchise's next head coach.

  • Head coach Zac Taylor
  • Director of player personnel Duke Tobin


Taylor and Tobin are being retained for the 2026 season, Bengals owner Mike Brown announced on Jan. 5.

  • Head coach Shane Steichen
  • General manager Chris Ballard


Steichen and Ballard will return for a fourth and 10th season, respectively, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Jan. 4. The Colts finished 8-9 and out of the playoffs despite starting the season 8-2.
